Abstract

|
Four cases of choledochal cyst are reported with a review of literatures.
The classic triad; jaundice, pain and mass, is the most important diagnostic feature, especially in female children.
An accurate preoperative diagnosis has been associated with a marked decrease in the mortality.
Choledochocystoduodenostomy or choledochocystojejunostomy (Roux-Y) is the treatment of choice.
